Inside this review, I am going to reveal exactly how this system works and you can decide whether or not it is meant for you, and more importantly:

List Eruption Requirements
- List Eruption will only work with WordPress. You Must have a self-hosted WordPress blog or a website that can be designed using the WordPress Framework. Most Cpanels have this available under the “Software & Services” section. If you don’t have a WordPress blog yet, don’t worry! I’ll show you how to set one up in under 5 minutes.
- You will need to have one of the 5 major autresponder services mentioned above: Aweber, Mail Chimp, GetResponse, iContact, or Constant Contact.
- A List in Need of Subscribers (I think we all need that)!
How it Works…
List Eruption is sort of like a huge list building funnel that consists of 3 parts:
Step 1: Filling the Funnel
Send your potential subscribers to an opt-in page that offers them something of value. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own squeeze page yet because professionally designed templates are provided within the List Eruption Plugin.
Step 2: Waving the Bait
Once your subscriber has opted into your list, you are going to offer them rewards for promoting your product. Each subscriber is given a unique referral URL and a list of how many referrals they need to receive their bonus. If they refer X number of people, they receive whatever bonus you are offering them at that referral level. Create as many levels as you would like and give bigger bonuses to those who refer more people. You should include a “buy it now” option for impulsive buyers. Facebook and Twitter options are available for easy sharing, but I suggest you provide them with other marketing resources as well.
Step 3: Multiplying Your Subscribers
Once your subscribers start sharing, your list will begin to grow exponentially. They will share with their friends, who decide to share with their friends, and so forth. So, in the end just 1 subscriber can multiply into 5, 10, 50, or even 100 subscribers! Follow up messages will be sent to remind your referrals that they will receive their reward when they refer X number of people. Special tokens such as {referrals} (displays the number of referrals) and {reward-item} (displays next level’s reward) are used to automate the process while maintaining personalization. Don’t forget to reward your subscribers!
Value is Key…
The methodology behind the List Eruption plugin is based on consumer value. You MUST present something of value to your subscribers or the system will not work. This can be accomplished in a number of different ways depending on the niche, but it will most likely include something along the lines of free content or training, a free trial or discount for your software or product, access to exclusive PLR products, etc.
Let’s take a closer look at what specifically VALUE means here since your overall success depends on it.
Guidelines for Picking a Product with Value…
1. Obviously, the greater the value of your product, the more likely your subscribers will be to promote it and build your list in the process.
2. Your product or service must be unique and it cannot be something that is easily attainable.
3. The revenue generated from giving away your product must be GREATER THAN the costs associated with giving away your product. This can be difficult to figure out at first and it may require some trial and error as well as some careful tracking on your part. Also keep in mind that the long term effects (repeat sales from existing customers) are not going to be visible immediately.
To fully understand rule #3, let’s look at an example. Let’s say you give away $10 to your subscribers if they can refer 10 people. This means that you must be constantly making at least $1 per subscriber on your list. If you aren’t making at least $1 per subscriber, then you may want to raise the referral level or consider giving away an entirely different product.
The Good Points About the System
- Easy to Set Up. List Eruption can be downloaded, installed, and configured in less than 5 minutes. Video tutorials and step-by-step instructions are also included.
- Great for New & Experienced Marketers. No experience is necessary to be able to use the List Eruption plugin, even if you are completely new to list building or WordPress.
- Grow Your List Rapidly. The referral rewards program has been proven to drastically increase your subscribers base. Only a handful of initial subscribers are needed to set the system into effect.
- Increases Overall Responsiveness of Your List. By offering your subscribers rewards, you are creating interaction between you and your list. As a result, you can expect to see extremely high click-thru-rates (CTRs) and conversions.
The Bad Points About the System
- You have to find your own product to give away. As of now, the List Eruption plugin does not come bundled with some type of exclusive plr product, software, training, etc. that you can give away to your subscribers. Not everyone is within the same niche so I can see why he didn’t include this. However, I’m sure a lot of people who are buying the plugin aren’t going to have something to give away at first and it can take some time for them to find something that is really valuable in the eyes of their customers. I am doing my best now to solve this problem for those who would like to take the “cookie cutter” approach and I’ll be sure to include something in my List Eruption Bonus Package.
A Final Word…
Tim Atkinson and Mark Thompson have provided you with an extremely powerful product, but it is up to you to use it correctly and this will take some effort on your part. You might have to search for the perfect product to give away, adjust your referral reward levels every once in a while to maximize your profit, and even generate some quality content for your follow-up messages, but if you give it a valiant effort, you will succeed.

“I wasn’t that Impressed”
When I first came across List Eruption, I wasn’t that impressed. I had no idea who Mark Thompson was and I though it was just going to be yet another disappointing list building program with a fancy name. It seems like I’ve tried them all. Most of these types of programs provide you with all the tools you need (squeeze pages, autoresponders, etc), but they fail to teach you how to get traffic.
But something was different about List Eruption…
It Solved the Traffic Generation Problem.
Something in particular about List Eruption caught my attention: it is based on a referral rewards system. I had seen this referral type of system a couple times before. Once for a product called PresellPro by Dustin Struckman, and another time for a link building program called SocialMonkee.
Then, it dawned on me. I, myself promoted Social Monkee until I got the 12 referrals needed to get my reward — 100 unique backlinks per day. I, however, wasn’t the only one promoting this product. I saw it numerous times in safelists and big internet marketing forums such as Warrior Forum and Digital Point.
So, I knew for a fact this method was going to work.
Except this time, people would be promoting my product and building my list for me. So, I decided to give List Eruption a try and I bought the plugin.
How Well Did List Eruption Work For Me?
Setting up List Eruption was a breeze. All I had to do was download the plugin, upload it to my server, and click the activate button. It was that simple. However, I did run into some small problems along the way…
The first problem I had was a major one. Up until this point, I have only been an affiliate and I don’t have a product of my own which I can offer a discount for or give away in exchange for my subscribers building my list for me. Where on earth was I going to find one? Sure I had tons of expensive SEO software and other great tools my target audience would be interested in, but I couldn’t legally give them away. I also knew that ebooks weren’t going to cut it. Who in their right mind would promote my list for me just so they could read some stupid ebook? And then it finally hit me…
I would need to create a product of my own. And in the least expensive way possible.
So, I finally decided to start a Traffic Reseller Business. Everyone needs traffic, right? I went on Flippa and bought a start-up traffic reseller website. The wholesale provider was included with my website. I got a great deal on it and I didn’t really care if it was new or even if it had any previous traffic. After all, I was going to get all my sales through building my list — not through SEO.
The Results…
I am still in the process of building my list, but my results so far have been outstanding. On my Traffic Reseller Website, I have included a pop-up that comes up after about being on my website for 20 seconds. It offers my visitors a chance to get the traffic for free or at a discounted rate if they tell their friends. So far, about 10% of my visitors (some prefer to buy and others just leave, that’s the reality of it) have taken me up on that offer. One out of ten isn’t bad at all, and that one subscriber can turn into 5, 10, 50, or even 100 additional subscribers. It really just depends on how badly they want what I have to offer. In total, I have been able to add just over 1,000 subscribers to my list (I personally only referred about a fifth of them). So, List Eruption is working quite well.
My Final Verdict
Looking back, I would definitely recommend List Eruption to a friend. It is a MUST HAVE for list builders, internet marketers, affiliates, or anyone looking to build a huge list of subscribers. It has allowed me to build a decent sized list in a very short period of time, and my subscribers are doing most of the work for me. Best of all, my list is extremely responsive. They are actively opening all the emails I send them and they are continually promoting my business for me. What more could I possibly ask for?

First Impressions Mean Everything…
The first thing I look at before buying any product online is to see who exactly the creators are. I also make it a point to research any other products they have produced, especially if the product is related to the make money online niche. This insight gives me a strong understanding of who they are and what their intentions are, whether or not the product is likely to be reliable, and most importantly, whether or not I should invest my hard earned money in it.
So, who are the creators of List Eruption? Meet Tim Atkinson and Mark Thompson.
Tim Atkinson
I’m sure that most of you are already familiar with Tim Atkinson. And if you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting him already, you should get to know him because he is one of the most successful and knowledgeable internet marketers out there — a true role model. He has become a self-made millionaire online though internet marketing, though he had some help along the way from his success in the finance industry out in the real world. His main goal, however, is to motivate others, those who may not have the resources he did, and to teach them how to replicate his success in the shortest time possible. And that is exactly what he set out to do with his first product called Commission Overload.
Tim Atkinson is most well-known for one of his first products called Commission Overload. It is an internet marketing training program that teaches affiliate marketers more than 20 different methods to make money online by setting up a profitable affiliate business. Commission Overload was initially released on the Warrior Forum, and within first 48 hours more than 1,000 copies were sold! Mark Thompson
Mark Thompson is the mastermind behind List Eruption and I am honored to say that this is going to be his first big product launch. And I’m sure that he is going to make a great name for himself once everyone sees the potential that List Eruption has.
Well, since most of you don’t know who Mark Thompson is yet, why don’t I start off by telling you a little bit about what he does. Mark Thompson is an internet marketing consultant who specializes in Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click Advertising, Social Media, E-mail Marketing, and Affiliate Marketing (the man knows his stuff). He is also the founder of StayOnSearch and president of Search Creatively, a full-service Internet Marketing Company based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. In Mark’s five years of internet marketing experience, he has picked up a great bit of knowledge along the way and now he is sharing that information with people like you and I.
